As a Data Analyst, you will report to the Data Manager and work closely with all departments to give them the best possible info and insights.

We are looking for a Data Analyst who can master data extraction, data analysis and is proficient in report preparation and in extracting quality information from data. You are confident in your data extraction, cleaning and processing skills; you know how to guarantee the quality of the data and its future usability. Furthermore, you will analyze the data to generate and deliver usable insights with Business Intelligence tools. Success in this position requires the ability to manage multiple data sources, Knowledge of SQL and Python, experience in tools like Quicksight, Domo, or Tableau, and ideally with the AWS services such as Glue, Databrew and Athena.

What you will do at ODILO:

• Collecting and interpreting data from different sources in our AWS enviroment. 
• Transform and load Data with SQL, python scripting, Glue and Athena.
• Act as an internal consultant to translate business questions into insights.
• Understand business needs and produce insightful analyses for internal teams to make the right decisión
• Identifying patterns and trends in data sets, as well as automating these tasks so we can spend less time reviewing normality and more time analyzing interesting anomalous patterns.
• Analysing results from different actions and driving insights that can help our business.
• Reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business, using data visualization tools.
• Assist colleagues in gaining access to the right data

What we need from you:

• Proficient in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
• Proficient in Python scripting (with packages such as PySpark).
• At least 2 years of work experience providing internal teams with the necessary data to make the right decisions
• Knowledge of AWS Glue environment: crawlers, Glue, Databrew, Athena, etc.
• English is required, both spoken and written.
• Based in Madrid or nearby, as the position follows a semi-remote model with regular in-office collaboration.

What would make us happy:

• Strong experience using Amazon Athena/Glue in your ETLs
• Knowledge of visualization tools like Quicksight, PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, Domo.
• Experience with Excel/Google Sheets in data environments
